The ‘National Community Service’ Group
This is what we did for our social action project, all on a weeks deadline,
working with 15 others! We did a lot of fundraising and even chipped in our
own money, by having a ‘Fete’ at Fritton and also doing some bag packing at
Morrisons, to then go on to create this amazing place for people which may
have long term difficulties to go and get away from the public to do some
potting and learn about plants.There is an area outside which they can also
go over to and sit down just to get away and chill out. We are all very
pleased how this has all turned out especially with so little time and
so much work to be done! There was a lot of disagreements and debates on
what to do and how, but that all turned out to be very good with all the
ideas everything had! Well done to everyone on the NCS group to bringing
this all together! At the end of this everyone had a smile on their face!
