History – Belton and District Historical Society (BDHS)
As from April 2020 the society has ceased meetings and now disbanded. Nearly all of the Society’s data from their past website was saved and transferred to this site as seen on the appropiate pages.
An enthusiastic group of amateur historians who are collecting, researching and displaying the history of Belton, Browston, Burgh Castle and the surrounding areas.
We welcome the supply of local artefacts, photographs, postcards, etc. and will copy and archive these for posterity (all supplied material can be returned after copying).
